Bees are extremely useful, interesting and amazing insects. Bees can be found living in so many locations like marshes, shingles, sand dunes, soft cliffs, heathlands, wetlands, gravel pits, sea walls and even post-industrial land. I agree, if they bit you, You may experience temporary sharp pain, swelling, redness, warmth, and itching at the sting site, but no serious complications (in most cases). But rest, Bees are very good for the environment and nature. It may hurt you but these little folks are more important than you for nature in fact the bees have been declared the most important living beings on this planet. But unfortunately, recent studies show a dramatic decline in the number of bees as almost 90 percent of the bee population has disappeared in the last few years. The uncontrolled use of pesticides, deforestation or lack of flowers is the main reason for their extinction.
Here are some things you can do to help bees and the planet survive.
Plant Flowers
Plant flowers on your balcony, garden and wherever you can. Because we all know bees are mostly dependent on flowers so planting flowers can help them to survive very effectively. You can collect flower seeds from temples, mosques or some other places and ask your friends, follower, student or anyone to help to plant those seeds.
Spread Awareness About Deforestation
You can spread awareness about deforestation or plant more trees. You can also buy seeds from the market or you can prepare your own seeds at home.
Instructions:
First step: Collect seeds from vegetables or fruits.
Second step: Soak them in water few days.
Third step: Dry them in sunlight or in shade.
The seeds are ready to plant now. You can plant them wherever you want and it’s cost you nothing this is so simple.
You can also donate to some organizations and NGOs that plant trees and working to protect our forests and bees.
Spread Awareness About Harmful Pesticides
Most pesticides are full of chemicals and kill bees. These pesticides also damage our soil and crop so you can spread awareness about these harmful pesticides. You can make farmers aware of how pesticides are damaging things and how much bees are important to crops and the planet.
Almost 90% of wild plants and 75% of leading global crops depend on animal pollination. One out of every three mouthfuls of our food depends on pollinators. Crops that depend on pollination are five times more valuable than those that do not.
Help Others To Make Space Bee-Friendly
You can also chat with your friends and family about how cool bees are. You can help them to make their wild spaces bee-friendly. Bees love traditional cottage garden flowers and native wildflowers, like primrose, buddleia, and marigolds.
Fun fact: If the queen bee dies in a honeybee hive the workers can create a new queen bee. They do this by selecting a young larva and by feeding it special food called ‘royal jelly’ the larva develop into a fertile queen.
I hope you will think about these tips and try to do as many as you can for Bees and our Earth. If you have some suggestion on which we should write or you have any query and something else you can contact us. Please do share these facts with your family, friends, and others to spread awareness.
